We've added a spring to our step

And, really, I'm just being hopeful. We got a hint of spring and then Mother Nature pulled the rug out from under us by playing a late April Fool's joke and giving us snow. Last week. It is beautiful today, so I am feeling hopeful again.

And, of course, warmer weather means more activities!

Our school put on a Father Daughter Date Night and Mike took Sydney. She was beyond the moon to go out with Daddy again, especially since he even brought her flowers!

We are thinking of starting a whole new blog series based solely on how we find Sydney sleeping at night. Not really, but it would be hysterical if we did. 

I promise. 

These two. They look like they like each other, right? There was probably food involved. 

Sydney and I got to go to the open house for the new wing at Akron Children's Hospital with my mom. Here she is in a giant fancy NICU room. I wish her room would have been like that when she was in the NICU! 

And, what a treat to see the helicopter pad! Too bad Air Bear wasn't there! 

Here's a new ER room. What space! While we hope to never visit there again, it is nice to know we'll have a top rate facility just in case.

Then Sydney and I went to the Dragonfly Tea Room for our first date as we go through the book 8 Great Dates for Moms and Daughters. What fun!!! 

And here is Sydney being quite the helper with sound for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Sunday School story room!
