MIA

I feel like I've been MIA for a little while. We've just been - you guessed it! - busy! We had Thanksgiving at our house this year. It went really well. My mom came over and helped me with the turkey. It turned out delicious! Then Mike and I went out of town for a weekend away to celebrate our anniversary.

The day after we got back we had some company arrive. Mike's sister, her husband and their 8 kids - plus one on the way - came for a visit. Mike's grandparents had their 70th anniversary celebration this weekend and most of Mike's family came in for a visit. That meant space was limited as to where people could stay. So, we squeezed Mike's sister and her family in here. We weren't sure how it would work, but I think it went really well! This house swallows some people - which was what we planned on when we built it! What a blessing! Mike's parents arrived last Friday and just stayed through the weekend. So, at one point, we had 12 people staying here on top of the 5 of us. That's how memories are made!

Along with family celebrations, Jared had his Christmas program last Friday which meant Mike's family that normally isn't around for these things was able to make it. What a gift!

Crystal's youngest, Lincoln, loved Katy and Macy. And Katy was so happy to have someone her size. She was so gentle with him, it was sweet!

Game time with cousins!
