Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Jared’s first field trip of his kindergarten career was Monday. Like Sydney and Corban before him, he got to ride on a bus (which they think is a huge adventure since I drive them to school) and visit a local pumpkin farm, Kingsway. You might remember that we visit here every year since the owners are friends of ours. However, this was the first time Jared got to go on a wagon ride to the field to pick out a pumpkin. I had so much fun, too! When Corban and Sydney had their trips I was home with Jared (and Sydney, for Corban’s). I am so looking forward to being more involved in each of their school activities this year.

He wanted a  tiny, round pumpkin. So cute!

In years past Jared hasn’t even wanted to feed the animals. This year when they asked if anyone wanted to bottle feed a calf Jared jumped right in. So sweet!

One of the great things about Kingsway is how creative they are. There are photo opportunities every time you turn around.

They even did face painting!
