It’s hard to believe that it was 7 year ago today that we met our tiny 3 lb. princess! We might not have been entirely ready for her, but she was sure ready for the world and hasn’t looked back since! She’s the light and life of our family and we are so thankful that God blessed us with such a spunky little girl!
This is one of my favorite pictures of her. She was such a fighter that at 22 days and only 3 lbs. 8 oz. she was ready to join us at home. We had to pull the car seat straps as tight as they would go and roll up receiving blankets and put them under her and on each side to keep her snug in her seat. But, she was ready to go whether we felt up to the task or not!
And look at her now! Beautiful and smart and more than we could have ever asked for.
My mom and dad popped down for a visit the other day since they will be out of town for her birthday. Sydney has been asking for this Lego Friends set for quite a while. Grandma and Grandpa came through! With Corban and Jared’s help she has already built the house and made up several stories for the family that lives inside. Today she has requested a visit to Build-A-Bear, so, off we go!
