Saturday a week ago Corban participated in a local pinewood derby event. He designed his car, Mike cut it out for him and he diligently sanded and painted it.
Such a proud boy!
Corban did really well in the morning heats and came out in the top four in his group. This meant he could go on to regionals later that afternoon. We were surprised because we didn’t even know there would be regionals. Participants from all around the state showed up! He didn’t place in the top three, but he sure had a great day with his dad!
