Last Friday, Sydney’s preschool celebrated “Mom & Me Day”. It’s always fun to spend time there with Sydney and get a glimpse into what her time at preschool looks like. Sydney wears her emotions on her sleeve and it was clear that her mommy was there just for her! And a happy girl makes a happy mom!
The teachers planned several projects for us to do together. At one table the kids worked together (with a little help from Mom!) to make cookies. They each got to measure an ingredient and stir it into the bowl. We even got to eat the cookies – and they were yummy!
The other craft we made was the flower you can see clipped on my shirt. Sydney picked out all the layers and I got to hot glue them together. The flower was supposed to be for me, but it really looks adorable in Sydney’s hair!
The kids also made cards for their moms. Sydney’s said that she loves her mom because “she makes me food!” Considering the struggle it is to get kids to eat in this house, I thought that was pretty special!
Days like these are pure blessings!
