On Tuesday Sydney's preschool class took a field trip to our neighbor Mr. Miller's farm. Since Mike has been working so much lately he found time to come home and take Sydney on her first field trip. Sydney couldn't have been happier.
She got to try milking a cow. That's quite the preschool experience!
When Mr. Miller asked if anyone wanted to help him get the goat into the barn Sydney grabbed the goat around it's neck and gave it all her effort. This little girl has no fear of animals. In fact, she loves them, she just has a little to learn about approaching them.
That point was proved when Mr. Miller asked who wanted to pet a skunk and all the kids backed away except for Sydney who ran right up to pet it.
No fear of chickens, either.
Mr. Miller has quite a few deer, as well.
But Sydney's favorite was this cat which I am told she carried around for almost her entire visit. I have so many pictures of her carrying this cat that it was hard to decide which one to share.
