While the girls are away... the guys get stuck watching the kids!

Most of Mike's family came up from Florida to be here for T.J.'s funeral. It was honestly a very sad and hard time, but it was nice to see so many of the family here together. Mike's dad and step-mom, Ron and Flo, stayed here with us. Mike's sister and brother-in-law, Crystal and Carlin stayed at Mike's brother, Wendell's house, and Mike's brother and sister-in-law, Brendan and Robin stayed at Robin's parent's house. Brendan and Robin have 3 kids, Keegan, 4, Carter, 3 and Camryn, 1. Keegan and Corban are best of friends and cousins. They are 19 months apart but have been the same size forever and had an almost instant connection since they were pretty little. Carter is only 6 months younger than Sydney and Camryn, while a whole year younger than Jared, still played very well with him. It was so much fun having them around. On Friday that week, I was signed up for another Stamp Camp where we get together at my friend (and Stampin' Up demonstrator) Stephanie's church and make about 20 cards in one night. I decided to still go because I now needed so many thank-you notes for all our amazing friends who helped us out with so much and were just there for us. Robin has always wanted to be able to join us at Stamp Camp, but being in Florida generally makes that a tough thing to accomplish. Well, this time she was able to come! It was so fun having Robin along this time, too! And, what should we do with the kids? Leave them with the daddies and grandparents, of course! They spent the evening playing outside until the sun started setting and then they came inside for "Movie Night". In the first picture you can see Ron standing behind the couch that Corban is sitting on. Grandma Flo is sitting on the other couch with Jared, Sydney, Carter and Keegan, all munching on pop-corn. Yum!

Here is Grandpa Ron and Corban, both close to sleep. The night got so late and everyone was so tired that my kids apparently took themselves upstairs and fell asleep by the time I came home. This *never* happens around here!

And Uncle Mike won over niece Camryn. Isn't she the most adorable?!

And just in case you were curious, here are some of the cards we made that night. Stephanie does a wonderful job planning and preparing for Stamp Camp and making it a really fun night for all of us girls.
