Family Night at the Akron Aeros

Last Friday was Family Night at the Akron Aeros baseball game. Kids playing in our school district's youth baseball were all given discount tickets for the night. Mike and Corban went while I stayed home with Sydney and Jared (We went grocery shopping and out to eat, so we had fun, too! Well, not the shopping part, but taking them out to eat actually went really well). Corban loves his Daddy time. They went with some friends and also sat with the kids from Corban's team and their families. Here's my boys before they left:

Corban had a lot of fun, although he did say that after a while it "got a little boring". What better to enjoy while watching baseball than a soft pretzel? The weather was absolutely perfect for an evening of baseball, pretzels and hot dogs!

The game ended up going extra innings which I think is why Corban probably thought it got a little boring. After the game all the kids got to walk on the field. Corban is the one with the number 4 on his shirt. He looks so little out there! Mike said Corban was so excited that he could hardly keep up with him and he couldn't get any good pictures of Corban facing him. What a fun experience!
