Halloween Fun

We really stretched out Halloween this year. Usually I am scrambling last minute to get pumpkins (and carve them!), find costumes and have candy on hand. Not this year!

Halloween is not my favorite holiday. It's probably my least favorite holiday for various reasons. But I do love to make fun memories with my kids and that's exactly what we did this year. Most of October showed up with absolutely beautiful, dry weather.  What a gift! The only exception was the weekend we went to Boo at the Zoo. It actually snowed while we were at the zoo! But, memories!

What a silly picture - a banana and pizza eating popcorn!

And there was no scrambling to get a pumpkin. We picked a beautiful evening to visit the pumpkin farm where Sydney fell in love with a baby bunny.

This year the kids decorated their pumpkins using kits with paint and foam stickers. No carving! Win!

Jared's pumpkin is his version of Geronimo Stilton. He was required to decorate a pumpkin as a book report for school. He had such fun!

And Halloween wouldn't be Halloween without trick-or-treating at Grandma's house with their cousin, the Green Ninja!
