Of violins and bikes and drums

We're at it again! Keeping busy, busy, busy!

The weather is finally getting a little nicer around here, even though I believe we still had a threat of snow last week. We did get all the bikes down and head on a quick family ride last Friday. It felt good to get out again! However, Sydney and Jared are getting a little heavy to pull this year, so I think the tandem bikes will not be lasting much longer around here. We'll see how that goes!

We are in the midst of the madness that comes at the end of the school year. Corban is in soccer and Jared is in baseball which means we have a practice or a game pretty much every night. And several nights a week we are going different directions!

It also means that it's time for the end of year band and orchestra concert. Sydney plays violin and Corban plays percussion. The concert was last night. Since, of course, Jared had practice, I took Sydney and Corban to the concert. They are doing so well and it was so fun to listen to them and hear how they've gotten better each year!

The kids also had their TRIBE performance last weekend. It is a musical that kids from 1st through 4th grade put on each spring. They work hard and do a really great job! Corban got to come back as an alumni and he even helped with the background slides! He was so happy to get to help with the tech stuff!
