Epic Vacation

Have you missed us? We recently returned from from an epic vacation. We went to Florida for 10 days. I was worried about how much school the kids were missing - especially this year, and more so for Sydney. However, it was so cold at home that the kids only ended up missing 3 days of school due to snow (cold) days! What timing!

We took the kids to Disney for the first time. We spent 4 days at Disney and then headed down to Sarasota where Mike's family lives and spent 3 days there. Then we went back up to Orlando and spent a day at the Kennedy Space Center and a day at Legoland. Mike's family joined us for those last two days in Orlando and we all had a blast!

This was what our drive to the airport looked like. Our flight was delayed and many other flights were canceled, but we were able to eventually make it out and get to Florida. Yay!

A day later we found ourselves in the most magical place on earth and enjoyed absolutely beautiful weather.

While in Sarasota we went to Siesta Key beach. This beautiful day was much needed after the winter we've had this year.

Mike's sister has 9 kids (including sweet Capri who was just born in January!) and his brother has 5 kids. They all had a blast spending time together.
