Miscellaneous Mess

You know you might be moving to the country when your new neighbors ask if they can bale your yard to fee their horses. But we love it! And here is a picture of our land. There is a stream back in those trees you see at the back of the property and our land goes just past it. To the right you can see our neighbor's white fence for their horses. This is HOME. We bought the land and are just about to close on the loan. Our dig date is set for the next couple weeks, Lord willing.
This is the land on the other side, and you can see some beef cows in the field. So, horses on one side, cows on the other and fields all around. *love*
This was a bit of a photo dump. I'm still trying to play catch-up with the end of school-year craziness combined with some on-going computer issues.
Here you can see the highlight of Corban's 3rd grade picnic - a snapping turtle. The kids followed it almost all the way across the park. The turtle was a celebrity!
And here's the mess. Sydney found one small patch of dirt at Corban's baseball game recently. Apparently she thought she was too clean and needed to fix the problem. Jared played right along side of her, but you would never know by looking at him. I love these kids and their unique personalities!
