Fossil Museum Field Trip

Jared’s preschool class recently took a trip to the Akron Fossil & Science Center. It’s probably one of the smallest museums I had ever been to, but they sure packed a lot into a small space. And, I think it was just perfect for the Pre-K class. We had a lot of fun and even had to cut it short a bit to pick up Corban and Sydney from school on time.
After a short presentation all the kids got to make a paper airplane and take them out back and shoot them from a giant sling-shot. Jared got his the farthest (with a little help) in his group. What a fun experience for a 5-year-old boy!

There was some old-school playground equipment to play on outside. We were wondering if they counted as fossils also!
