I don’t remember having Science in kindergarten, but they seem to be starting things earlier and earlier in school now. Each week a different student gets to be the “Scientist”. They get to bring a lab coat home along with a book bag with several books with ideas for experiments and the tools a scientist needs such as safety glasses and a magnifying glass. Mike helped Sydney with her science experiment. We should have known this would be right up her alley and she ended up choosing two projects to try. She learned how light reflects through different liquids and why a straw looks “broken” in a cup of water. You can tell they all had a lot of fun with this project and Jared is already looking forward to his turn next year!
