Our little guy had a big birthday on Thursday – Jared turned 5! It’s so hard to believe that it’s already been five years since our special little Christmas surprise arrived 6 weeks early weighing 4 lbs. 2 oz. He came home very late on December 23rd and was one of the best gifts ever!
Jared decided he wanted an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen for his birthday. We are not big cake people around here, so everyone was happy with his choice!
Jared is very particular and he knows what he wants and he wants things “just so”. On one hand that can make getting him things easy because he is so specific. Can you see his joy on opening the box to the exact toy car he wanted? Love it!
It can also be frustrating when the one Lego character he wants – and he just wants that exact character – is part of an $80 set! Thank goodness for e-Bay where we found the “Lego Indiana Jones with the white shirt, black pants, hat and hair” all by himself for a much for affordable price.
Jared’s daddy who was the hero of the day for finding the best toy ever!
