Fall Fun

This month has been full of fun activities for Jared at Preschool. Like spring, we have had a very rainy fall. Both of his field trips this year have been rescheduled. But, we finally made it!

Earlier this month Jared’s preschool class took a trip to a local apple orchard. It was a beautiful day with perfect temperatures and sunshine – so worth the wait! Jared had fun picking apples, and later, eating them, too!

Today we took a trip to the pumpkin patch. The kids got to ride out to the field on a hay ride. It ended up being cold and rainy today. The rain came and went as we rode out to the field and we quickly found a pumpkin in between rain drops. It made the whole experience a little more of an adventure! (That’s thinking positively, right?) When we got back, the driver parked the tractor under a pavilion and just as we were ready to head back to our cars the rain just started dumping. Thankfully there was a little play area with dried corn for the kids to have fun in, so we let them play while we waited for the rain to slow down a bit.
