We did not plan a vacation this year, but we are trying to pack this summer full of fun activities as best we can. The kids are finally old enough that it is fairly easy to take them places and we can all enjoy our time out without too many meltdowns. It’s wonderful! We have a zoo membership and museum membership which allow us free or reduced entry into other zoos and museums. We already got our money’s worth and summer is only half over!
Last weekend we decided to go to the CLE Museum of Natural History. Since my best friend Jamie lives right up there, we picked her up on the way. What fun!!! I hope to do this again!
As excited as Jared was about the giant dinosaur bones, he was equally enthralled with the ropes keeping him away from them! Gotta love a kid’s perspective.
Having Jamie around means we can actually get the whole family in the picture! Yay!
And, did you know the museum has a little zoo outside? It was really cute, the kids loved it, and I would highly recommend the visit.
Of course, I’ve gotta get Jamie in on the action, too!

This kept them busy for a good twenty minutes while us old folks took a rest! (And Mike played games on his phone)
