Today Corban had his Celebration Feast finishing up the season of Upwards Basketball. This has been an incredible experience for all of us, but especially Corban. This program is run through a nearby churches. Each practice and game include a devotional time and the players are encouraged to memorize Bible verses each week. Teamwork and sportsmanship are valued as well as respect for each player, the coaches and the umpires.
Today's celebration was a lot of fun as well. Each player was recognized on stage and given a sports bag full of goodies that included snacks, sunglasses, a DVD of the season, a team picture and more!
