Sydney has always loved animals. However, until recently, our dog Macy did her best to avoid the kids. She loves them, and is never far away, but she has always been cautious. It sounds crazy but ever since Corban was mobile and would go to her, she would give me this look that said, "I love him and want to play, but I don't want to hurt him!" and she would slowly walk away. But never far. And when they would cry as babies, she would cry, too. Well, as the kids are getting older and having a little more self-control and getting close in size to Macy, she has started letting them spend more and more time with them and even taking her toys to them and begging to play with them. This is, of course, animal-lover Sydney's favorite thing! And she has started searching out Macy, too. What joy Sydney gets (and, I think Macy, too!) when they have some snuggle time together!
What a patient dog!
Sydney is not going to let her go any time soon!
But, there is always more snuggle time for Dad!
