The Greatest Show on Earth

Last night we went to "The Greatest Show on Earth" - The Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus. What fun! I felt like a kid again! Who doesn't remember going to the circus as a kid?! The show was amazing and, sitting in row 12, our seats were amazing as well. They did an awesome job keeping your attention the entire evening, redirecting your attention with one performance while setting up for the next. When we came home the kids were telling me their favorite parts. One of Corban's favorite parts was the music. Inside, I was a little proud of him for even noticing, but I have to say how right-on he was! Even the music was a huge part of the show. At first we were a little dismayed at the ticket prices - especially after you add all those crazy fees - but by the end of the evening we decided it was completely worth it!

We went along with some great friends of ours, the Shrock family. Dylan and Lauren are buddies with all our kids and it was so much fun to watch them watch the show together!

I wish I had been better able to get some good pictures, but I had to take my tiny camera in and it was such a large dark space inside that not too many pictures came out. But the tigers were so much fun to watch - you'll just have to use your imagination here! ;)

Isn't the best part the elephants? Actually, last night's performance made it so hard to chose. But those giant beasts' seeming eagerness to perform makes you fall in love with them just like when you were a kid!

By the time we got home, we had some wiped out kids. Actually, Lauren is faking here (do you see her smile?), but everyone else fell asleep on the way home.

What a treat for the whole family and what amazing memories we made!!!
