Apple Pickin'

Last Friday Sydney's preschool class took a field trip to a local apple orchard. I have never been to an apple orchard before! What fun!
Of course, Sydney already considered herself an expert and did NOT need to listen to any advice on how to pick apples (or how to NOT pick them up off the ground!) or check to see if they are ripe. Here is the apple expert herself:
This cool dude came along for the fun.
Sydney and Jared filled up the whole bag with fresh apples and we already enjoyed some Apple Crisp. Yummy!
Sydney's class has 8 boys and only two girls. Amazingly (and sadly for the teacher, LOL) both girls have the *exact* same personality! They are inseparable! It is so cute! And it's going to be so much trouble! =)
We enjoyed an amazing Summer here - it was HOT! Which, we like! And so far, this Fall has been every bit as beautiful! The leaves are starting to change, the gray clouds come in on a brisk wind and accent beautifully against the blue sky and my heart just sings with joy! Can you even believe that God created such beauty for us to enjoy?! It really does take your breath away. Every year I forget how much I love Fall and every year I am blown away again by God's grace and mercy and love!
"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory."
