There's no play like snow play

After all that snow a few weeks ago we took the kids outside to play. With kids, especially young kids, it often takes longer to get everyone dressed for the cold than they end up lasting outside in the cold. This year though, they were able to last outside quite a while and had a lot of fun. Usually Jared gets stuck in the snow -- those snow suits aren't real good at allowing you to walk well especially when you have just recently learned to walk. Jared would have had a much easier time this year though if the snow hadn't been up to his hips. But he still seemed to have a good time.
Do you seen him giving me the eye, trying to get me to carry him everywhere?

Here, they are expectantly waiting for Mike to take them up the hill for a little sled action:

They got what they wanted!

Jared working on his GQ pose. You know you want to buy that hat and jacket now, don't you? :)

Corban had an absolute blast!

What's more fun than an icy slide with a pile of snow to land in at the end?

After a while I couldn't take the cold any more. Well, truth be told I may have lasted longer if I wasn't the only one without good snow clothes. Jeans just won't cut it when the snow is up to your knees! So I went in and started dinner while Mike stayed out with the kids. Apparently the boys had a bit of fun trying to make Sydney into a snowman. This was just before she came inside, of course. Poor girl. I am sure she will find a way to get them back.
