But we'll get to that in a minute. My Aunt Trish and Uncle Steve are also back in town after living almost all of their married life (and, for my uncle, his life since high school) in other states! They have been talking about moving back for a few years and when they finally decided it was time and found a house it ended up being in town, even closer than I think they had ever planned! The house they live in is right next to a horse barn and Aunt Trish has started helping out with all the chores that go on in a horse barn. Last week they had a new arrival: A mule who is ready for some rest and relaxation in retirement. Clyde has been a hard worker all his life, helping out in a prison system and also pulling carts for his most recent owners. Steve and Trish wanted us to come visit him because he is so calm and they thought the kids would get a big kick out of him. And they did! It took a little convincing to get Corban to sit on Clyde but he finally did.

Trish also decided to try hopping on his back. Steve even took them for a little ride.
