Corban answered the knock

Horses and cabinets and Christmas trees - Oh My!

Things have been super busy for the Sommers Family lately. Of course, the house is taking up most of our time. We are in the home stretch. Ha ha. Last Friday Mike gave notice to the land lord of our rental and also at his office that both places would be open as of January 1. I'm honestly still not sure how Mike plans to make this happen. We have things scheduled to be installed into the week of Christmas. After that we'll need to pass final inspection, and move out completely so I can do a final cleaning at our rental. To say I feel overwhelmed at this moment would be an understatement. But, Mike thinks it can be done. I'm trying really hard to believe him. My mantra is, "it will all be over in January." At least there's an end date. Getting there will be a blur and I probably won't update this blog for a few weeks. Then I'm sure there will be quite a few pictures to share. Did you miss me? To be honest, I had mostly given up on this little blog. After I started school last fall (which I am loving, by the way), I realized some things on my plate would have to slide off. With the kids getting older and us settled in our new home, things just didn't seem exciting enough to keep sharing them with the one or two people :) who might read this blog. Not that things aren't exciting. Corban just turned 13 last week and, so far, I have *loved* having a teenager. He is so much fun to interact with and I love watching his personality become his own. And as each of the kids get older, we are just having so much fun as a family. Even when they are exhausting, the conversations I have with these kids just fill my heart. They think so deeply about so many things. I have to be on my toes! But I'm sure no one else wants to hear our half hour conversation on why some songs/shows/people are considered Christian and some aren't. And that's just the st
