We're off to a great start this summer! We are all enjoying the warmer weather, throwing open the windows every day and getting outside as often as possible - which is so much easier this year with slightly older kids! As you can tell, Jared and Sydney are loving this weather tons. Here they are chillin' out at Corban's t-ball game. Ahh, to throw off the pretension of adult-hood for a few minutes and relax like that!
Sydney's big thing this year has been to bring me anything that remotely looks like it even might bloom. So sweet! And so busy! All. the. time.
It might be hard to see here, but we have been saying lately that more and more Corban and Jared look like twins separated by 3.5 years. They are so fun. And they are starting to do 'boy' things together: Play cars (and even make car noises all the time), play catch, and waffle between protecting and torturing their sister.
Here's my sweet guy at a game recently. He is loving t-ball! Ever since he asked Jesus into his heart recently he hasn't stopped talking about it. His prayers have even changed a bit. It is so cool to listen to. Recently Mike was talking to him about someone who really needs our prayers and Corban said he wanted to draw a picture for this person. Mike asked what Corban wanted to draw and Corban said he wanted to draw a picture of Jesus in his heart but he said the paper would need to be really big to show how big God is in a persons heart. Out of the mouths of babes! It is so cool to get this child-like insight!
