I'm not feeling very creative when it comes to the titles of these house posts lately. I'll let Mike's creativity speak for itself. :) He has added so many details to this house to make it very much our own. It is beyond anything I would have ever dreamed up on my own.
Here are the kids (and Mike) waving from his office window. It's going to be so nice to have him nearby more. And when I need to work, it's going to be so nice to just head up the back steps and get things done. I won't even need a baby-sitter - I can just send the kids out back to play!
It's really coming together! I love our front porch!
We are super excited to have garage doors! Who knew *that* would be exciting?! We are going to add some hardware for a little more detail, too. Fancy!
The kids and I have missed having daddy around lately since he's spending every evening working at the house. The end is in sight though. Last weekend Mike suggested we bring what we need to make s'mores out and roast marshmallows over the burn pile. The kids thought this was a grand idea. Hopefully this is the first of many evenings we'll get to spend around the fire! We love it out there!
