Sydney had her Feast the day after Jared. It's very similar, but they do expect the older kids to do a little more. They sing a few songs and do some finger plays up front. They also made their little Indian outfits out of pillow cases stamped with fruit and veggies. Each child also had an Indian name all month long as they learned about Native Americans. Sydney's was Princess Tiger Lilly Sydney. So sweet!
For the little girl who likes to be the center of attention at all times, she did very well up front and did only exactly what she was supposed to. Good job, Sydney!
There was, of course, a feast afterwards that included Stone Soup, Oyster Crackers and pumpkin cookies. Mmmmm good!
