We finally got around to carving our pumpkins a little later than I had hoped this year. But, we are doing better than past years where we have carved pumpkins and directly went trick-or-treating. The Friday before Halloween we put on It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and got out our carving kit. Of course, Corban picked the most complicated design, a mummy. I think he did pretty well with it -- with a little help from Daddy!
Sydney showed me where to carve a face and then when I helped Jared she proceeded to add her own "details", nearly cutting her pumpkin in half. But, she had fun! Don't ever say this little girl has no ambition!
Jared is like me; he likes things SIMPLE. His pumpkin fit him perfectly. :)
